Doctyped.com Introduces Itself
Welcome all!
I am John, the founder of Doctyped. I want to personally thank you for visiting Doctyped and checking out what we are all about. As of this writing, Doctyped is almost done and the curtains are about to be raised to reveal newest addition to the web design community. And so I wanted to chime in and give you all a heads up on the exciting new things that Doctyped has to offer. But first, what is Doctyped?
Doctyped is a web designers marketplace where designers can sell their templates and designs. Web designers can sell things like wordpress themes, Flash banners and intros, turnkey website packages, web templates, Joomla themes, and templates and styles for any of the CMS or ecommerce systems out there. Doctyped will take a portion of the sales and of that, will spend it towards marketing the site online.
I really feel this is an exciting opportunity for both designers and buyers. For designers, this will give a channel not available before to make sales on their designs and bring new clients from their work. Buyers on Doctyped will get a selection of the best designs from the best designers on the internet. Other template sites can’t offer that. Most of them higher designers who just make templates, and have little experience what clients want and need.
